Several public utility vehicles were found to be violating the mandated physical distancing rule and 50 percent passenger capacity at checkpoints  or  Quarantine Control Points (QCPs) in Antipolo City as part of the protocols under the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ).

During a police operation called "Oplan Sita," the random inspection done by members of the Antipolo Police on some public utility jeepneys (PUJs) on Marcos Highway on Monday, March 29, uncovered several violations by the PUV drivers and passengers.
Antipolo Police chief, Lt. Col. Jose Joey Arandia flagged down several PUJs after he spotted the vehicles full of passengers which is a violation of the 50 percent passenger capacity policy being enforced during ECQ based on the omnibus guidelines of the Department of Transportation.
Police inspections on Marcos Highway and Ortigas Avenue Extension showed violations by 21 jeepney drivers.
Some passengers who were aboard the loaded PUJs were either allowed to transfer to another PUJ while others were asked to board the police vehicle for them to be transported to where several jeepneys were picking up passengers.
Master Sgt. Excelsis Zamora, Police Community Relations officer of the Antipolo Police, told the Manila Bulletin that several passengers and even drivers were caught not wearing face shields during the on the spot inspection conducted by the police.
Zamora said that as of 9 p.m. on March 29, several violators of the curfew hours were also rounded up.
