Carlyn Ocampo shares her 'career suicide' decision

The now returning actress performer Carlyn Ocampo is very happy with her upcoming film "Kung Pwede Lang" but now without some drastic changes that she had to incorporate in her role.

Carlyn re-introduced herself on the online mediacon for "Kung Pwede Lang" last Friday. "Ako po dito si Precious, kumbaga POV ko dito is yung nakatatandang kapatid ni Penelope, dati po akong member ng Pop Girls then nag Korea po ako to be a part of Z-Girls and bumalik po ako dito sa Philippines for this series."

As the interview went on, Carlyn shared how she had to change her personality for the role.

"Ako po, personally hindi po talaga ako palamura, first time ko po mag mura sa palabas and sobrang laki po ng adjustment kasi as a singer hindi rin po ako sumisigaw, pero pagdating dito sa palabas na to, sabi nga nila eh talagang nag-transform ako and natutuwa po ako na na-experience ko yun."

Carlyn added: "Sobrang challenging po talaga lalo na sa poster namin na may naka-middle finger (laughs) ayan, medyo na bash po talaga ako diyan andaming nag-message sa'kin na mga fans na: 'career-suicide raw, 'Carlyn! Anong ginagawa mo? Ekis ka na Carlyn ano ba 'yang pinaggaga-gawa mo."

"Kasi po sa K pop, bawal na bawal po talaga 'yan sa 'min lalo na ako, galing ako sa Korean management."

Behind her smile and calm voice in person, Carlyn proves that she is versatile and strong enough to face the criticisms about her.

"Yan ay role mo lang naman, kaya ayun hindi ko na lang po pinapansin, and lagi rin naman sinasabi ni Direk Darryl na 'tatagan nyo yung loob nyo' kaya ayun, hindi na lang namin pinapansin." she ended.
