Mark "LORD HADESS" Lazaro came through with a stellar play on his Granger in his season debut as Aura PH kept reigning world and MPL champion Bren Esports winless with a 2-1 victory in the MPL Philippines Season 7 on Saturday, March 27.
Coming off a jittery start, LORD HADESS played perfectly on his core Granger in Games 2 and 3 to complete the comeback win for the two-time MPL champion organization.
Aura's strategy of putting LORD HADESS in the starting lineup in place of Chan "Rafflesia" Fajura while having Jaypee "Jaypee" Dela Cruz as tank paid off as the team remained atop Group A with five points on a 2-1 series win-loss record.
Bren, on the other hand, fell to a dismal 0-3 start to the season despite securing the signature Lancelot of M2 Grand Finals MVP Karl "KarlTzy" Nepomuceno in the deciding game.
The M2 winners actually held the series advantage as KarlTzy's Benedetta, who executed the second "maniac" this season, and a mega siege minion sparked the 14-9 win in 15 minutes over the hard-fighting Aura in Game 1.
But Aura, the Seasons 4 and 5 champion organization, struck back harder in Game 2 as LORD HADESS' Granger exploded with seven kills and six assists against zero deaths to ignite the 18-4 demolition in just 11 minutes.

The former Cignal Ultra hyper-carry once again displayed a flawless performance on the Death Chanter in the crucial Game 3, posting five kills and nine assists in the 17-8 triumph in 12 minutes.
Benedict "Bennyqt" Gonzales' Chou (5-2-3) and Ashley "Killuash" Cruz's Yu Zhong (4-1-4) also delivered as Aura punished KarlTzy's super aggression on his Lancelot and took the Lord kill in the 11th minute to seal the deal.
