CHEESY! How Gerald Sibayan proposed to Ai Ai delas Alas

It took four years and a pandemic for Ai Ai delas Alas to actually analyze the meaning behind her husband Gerald Sibayan proposing to her using a plastic coffee container.

She shared on Instagram: "Tbt ... may hinahanap akong picture kahapon and nung nakita ko to sabi ko, 'Darl ganito ka pala nag propose nalimutan ko na ang alam ko offer mo ko kape and sabi mo ubusin ko lang tapos nasa dulo yung singsing nyek may nakasulat pala sa labas (na) 'Can you be my misis,' haha ngayun ko lang napansin after 4 years haha KAYA KO PA BA ?????"

The comedienne admitted she didn't understand then why Gerald asked her hand in that manner.

"At eto pa, noon masaya lang ako nag propose and isip ko lang ano ba connect ng proposal na to? Hayaan na basta may proposal..."

Now, it finally dawned on her.

"After 7 years ( sabi ni darl ngayun m lang naiiip yan??) dulot ng pandemya lahat ina-analyze -- sa kawalan ng ginagawa kasi ubos na sa gym at pag lilinis ng bahay isip isip nalang hahahaha kasi nga pala sa Starbucks kami unang ng date #shungamoaiai #kayabatoday."

Ai Ai and Gerald tied the knot in 2017.
