Blacklist International remains unscathed in MPL with crushing sweep over LPE

Showing flawless execution of its drafts, Blacklist International trampled on Laus Playbook Esports, 2-0, to stay unbeaten in the MPL Philippines Season 7 on Saturday night, March 27. 

Blacklist pulled off the defensive Diggie strategy to perfection on Jayson "ESON" Gerardo's hands in the opener before paring up hyper-carry Danerie James "Wise" Del Rosarios' Brody with ESON's Rafaela in the series clincher. 

The Tier One Entertainment-backed squad bagged its third win in as many matches to remain holding the pole position in Group B with five points. 

LPE, which struggled as only coach Brian "Panda" Lim and one player were in the bootcamp in accordance with MPL's health and safety protocols, stayed at the bottom of the group with two markers. 

ESON's Diggie anchored Blacklist's 10-minute domination in Game 1 as he combined forces with captain Johnmar "OhMyV33nus" Villaluna's Popol & Kupa in tanking the opposing damage. 

That enabled Kiel "OHEB" Soriano's Alice, Edward "EDWARD" Dapadap's Benedetta and Danerie James "Wise" Del Rosario's Harley to dish out the needed burst damage. 

Edward, who finished with six kills and an assist without a death, fittingly closed the game with a maniac kill streak. 

LPE put up a better fight in Game 2 but Wise's Brody took a triple kill in a 4-2 exchange that translated into a Lord take in the 11th minute. 

Blacklist proceeded to wipe out all the LPE heroes and eventually the base for an 18-7 romp in 13 minutes.
