You can now order your favorite tonkatsu meals from the local cloud kitchen operator
Known as virtual or ghost kitchen, cloud kitchen is deemed to be the future of restaurant business. It has a unique approach that is backed by innovation and technology, helping food brands and restaurants to thrive online with no dine-in option.
The latest to take this digital leap is Bench Food Group as it partners with Kraver's Canteen in bringing its first cloud kitchen for one of its brands, Maisen Tonkatsu.
Launched in 2020, Kraver's Canteen is a local cloud kitchen operator that aims to bring the restaurant experience to Filipinos' homes. It does it by helping food brands grow online, connecting them with customers, and giving them the necessary resources they need. Some of the brands under its belt are Sheikh's Kebab, Burger Jack, Tiger Sugar, and El Nacho Libre.
The concept allows restaurant owners to minimize rent cost, a major factor contributing to the closure of many food establishments during the pandemic, as the only space needed is for food preparation.
Tonkatsu lovers can expect to see new delectable Japanese dishes to come from the partnership. As of the moment, the brand's katsu, curry, and donburi dishes are available at Kraver's Canteen San Juan and on Grab Food.
Bench Food Group is the company behind beloved food spots like Bench Café, St. Marc Café, and Marugame.
