Tough bust: Cops arrest big-time drug courier in Luzon and Mindanao after agent penetrated Taguig-based drug syndicate
Police seized some P13.6 million of shabu after they arrested a 42-year old drug pusher from Maguindanao in a buy-bust in San Pedro, Laguna.

The suspect was identified as Edgarfeel Sakilan, an alleged drug pusher who also works as a driver. He was tagged as a notorious drug courier of illegal drugs in Central Luzon, Metro Manila and some areas of Laguna and nearby provinces.
Police Lt. Gen. Guillermo Lorenzo Eleazar, officer-in-charge of the Philippine National Police (PNP), said the operation stemmed from the hard work of a deep penetration agent who was able to penetrate the drugs syndicate of Sakilan.
Sakilan was arrested after receiving the marked money in Saint Joseph Village in San Pedro on Tuesday night. Seized from him were two kilos of shabu, a sedan with license plate AEA 9728 and a cellular phone.
Eleazar said the suspect is one of the cohorts of the arrested Michael Romualdez, a warehouseman in Imus City, Cavite.
“The illegal drugs supplies were from a certain Chinese National who contacted them using an international number based in Hongkong. Their illegal drug group is composed of Filipino- Muslim and Chinese nationals and illegal drug trade is operated through dispatching vehicles loaded with the illegal drugs,” said Eleazar.
Eleazar said the illegal drug transaction of the group was discovered when one of the personnel of the PNP entered the drug syndicate through a confidential informant. From there, it was revealed that this illegal drug group is composed of Filipino-Muslims and Chinese nationals who reside at Doña Soledad, Taguig and AFP Village, Taguig.
During the monitoring and surveillance of the operating teams, it was disclosed that they have been using different vehicles whenever they have an illegal drug transaction.
Sakilan is now facing illegal drug charges and is currently under custody of the local police.
