Philippine Heart Center's COVID ward, ICU hit full capacity; OPD clinics to halt operations


The Philippine Heart Center in Quezon City said its COVID-19 wards and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) already reached full capacity on March 23 (Tuesday).

In the same advisory, the hospital also announced that from March 23 to April 4, all of its Out-patient Department (OPD) clinics will be closed.

Patients affected by the temporary closure were told to call PHC Hotline 8925-2401 local 5119 (Adult) /5102 (Pedia) /5104 (Pulmo) for re-scheduling of consultation.

The hospital’s OPD clinics will resume operations on April 5 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m..

“In keeping with our commitment to serve you better, we will use advisories on the updates on our hospital bed capacity and services,” the hospital said.
