Mario Maurer's lawyers wants Kakai Bautista to shut up on their client

It seems that Thai heartthrob Mario Maurer doesn't want to be associated in any way with Kakai Bautista.

Well, at least not anymore.

His lawyers reportedly sent the actress' agency, Artist Gallery Management, a demand letter recently, ordering her to refrain from using the name of Mario or referencing him directly or indirectly.

This, after Kwaonhar Nine-Nine Co. Ltd., the actor's management, was supposedly informed about Kakai's continued effort to attach her name to Mario's.

If Kakai failed to comply, Mario' camp warned they have “all legitimate right to claim for other damages and expenses incurred as a result of this matter.”

It added, “All statements and claims made by Catherine ‘Kakai Bautista’ regarding her claims of proximity to Mario Maurer are hereby DENIED as false and untrue.”

Kakai is still silent on the issue as of this writing.

The two met while filming "Suddenly It's Magic" in 2012.

Last year, Kakai related to fans how Mario's memory make her smile amid the pandemic.

"Ang sarap ng feeling na kapag naalala kita, puro masaya lang nagpaflash sa utak ko. Salamat sa pagdaan sa buhay ko.”

She also shared how Mario was “really kind and authentic” and was “good” to her until the end.

“I’ve seen so much of him that other people have never seen. (Siguro) I am forever grateful,” Kakai said.
