Janine Gutierrez suggests mass vaccination as 'solution' following COVID-19 surge

Taking to Twitter to express her feelings concerning the reported increase in number of COVID-19 cases in the country is Janine Gutierrez.

She wrote, "Napaka-walang malasakit naman. Isang taon nang nagtitiis ang mga Pilipino, imbis na magbigay ng solusyon, ang maipapayo mo ay mag-tiis parin at wag magreklamo? Hanggang kelan? masunurin at maintindihin ang Pinoy, kung meron lang sanang matinong maaasahan."

However, an online user was quick to denounce her pronouncement, noting Filipinos are not the only ones suffering from the pandemic.

Janine replied, "Masaya ako para sayo na kaya mong magtiis. Pero marami tayong kababayan na ikamamatay ang pagtitiis. Ang 'reklamo' kong ito, para sa kanila."

When another netizen asked her to suggest a solution, the actress was quick to cite mass vaccination.

"Sa dami ng inutang natin para sa bakuna, ang konti palang ng nababakunahan," she related.

Aside from Janine, the likes of Angel Locsin and Liza Soberano also reacted to the new surge of COVID-19 cases in the past days.
