The stars of GMA’s newest series, “First Yaya,” spent a considerable amount of time on location at The Manila Hotel recently to shoot some scenes for the TV show.

In fact, they held a group viewing of the highly rated premiere episode on March 15 at one of their locations inside the hotel, where both cast and crew—which has been on a shoot bubble between locations and where they are staying—cheered on as they watched the show’s TV debut.

During one of the shoot breaks, lead stars Gabby Concepcion (who plays President Glenn Acosta) and Sanya Lopez (in the titular role of Yaya Melody), as well as Maxine Medina (Lorraine Prado) we seen checking out The Manila Hotel’s Mystery Egg – the hotel’s offering for this year’s Easter.

In a video posted online, Gabby took the lead in cracking the giant egg open, with both Sanya and Maxine excitedly looking on. Other stars like Cassy Legaspi and ThiaThomalla also joined them in the fun to try out what’s inside the egg.

The Mystery Egg is the hotel’s play on those popular Mystery Boxes being sold online. With Easter celebrations dampened this year because the pandemic prevents kids from going out, The Manila Hotel thought to help spread some #EasterJoy with something parents can buy for their kids to enjoy at home.

Each purchase of the Mystery Egg worth P2,500 nett gives guests one (1) raffle ticket. The prizes for the raffle include one (1) Chromebook computer, which can be used for kids’ online classes. They can also win one set of The Manila Hotel Gelatos, and The Manila Hotel’s Willy The Bear.

The Manila Hotel also partnered with several groups to help make the Easter celebration a little more special for kids.
