BJMP personnel in Imus City get jabs in mobile vaccine clinic

IMUS CITY, Cavite - Local Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) personnel were inoculated against coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Wednesday, March 24, in a bus customized as a mobile vaccine clinic.

In a Facebook post, Mayor Emmanuel L. Maliksi shared photos of the mobile clinic rolled out by the local government unit (LGU) in coordination with the Philippine Red Cross and UBE Express.

Fifty-seven BJMP personnel received their first vaccine dose in the customized bus. 

Aside from the mobile clinic, the city government has also launched its fixed COVID-19 vaccination sites as well as a drive-thru vaccination site located in a mall within the city. 

Mayor's Office secretariat staff Miko Arianne Racelis told Manila Bulletin that the mobile vaccine clinic will be deployed to inoculate residents in remote areas with limited transportation.

The LGU is also set to launch a house-to-house vaccination campaign for residents with mobility problems.
