Tight border controls are in place in Bulacan province to ensure that the General Community Quarantine (GCQ) "bubble" encompassing the National Capital Region (NCR) and the provinces of Laguna, Rizal, Cavite and Bulacan, also known as the NCR+ bubble is not breached, according to Central Luzon police regional director Brig. Gen. Valeriano T. De Leon.
De Leon said that following the issuance of Resolution 104 by the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases placing NCR plus the four provinces under GCQ, PNP personnel, including force multipliers, were deployed to the ten Quarantine Control Points (QCP) along the boundaries of Bulacan with the adjacent provinces of Pampanga and Nueva Ecija

He said the common curfew from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. is also being strictly implemented. Workers, cargo vehicles, and public transportation will not be restricted while all public gatherings, including religious gatherings, will be prohibited. Weddings, baptism, and funerals will be allowed but must observe a 10-person venue capacity.
The following are the areas with quarantine control points: DRT Highway, Brgy Bulualto, San Miguel, Bulacan – Gapan, Nueva Ecija; Brgy San Roque Road, Baliuag Bulacan- Candaba, Pampanga; Mac Arthur Highway, Brgy Gatbuca, Calumpit, Bulacan - Apalit, Pampanga; Brgy San Pascual, Hagonoy, Bulacan - Sapang Kawayan, Masantol, Pampanga; NLEX Southbound Exits: Pulilan Exit, Sta Rita Exit, Bocaue Exit, Phil Arena Exit, Meycauayan Exit, and Marilao Exit. "Strict implementation of the GCQ guidelines is now being instituted provincewide. Only those who are providing basic services, daily essentials, essential goods, utilities, and other authorized personnel are allowed to enter and exit the boundaries of each city and municipality in the province. I appeal to the public to adhere to our guidelines and to stay inside their homes," De Leon added.
