Queen of All Media Kris Aquino thanked Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro "Teddy Boy" Locsin Jr. who came to her defense against trolls and bloggers who were reportedly paid to attack her two sons.
Sharing lines from the song "One Friend" by Dan Seals, Kris wrote on Instagram March 23: "If i had only one friend left, i’d want it to be YOU… THANK YOU."
Kris accompanied her caption with a screenshot of an article that came out in Manila Bulletin Online entitled "Locsin skips ‘serious’ tweets to defend Kris Aquino from online bashers" written by Roy Mabasa.
Locsin, who served as a presidential speechwriter and legal adviser to Kris’ mother, the late former President Corazon Aquino, praised the younger Aquino for being “gold” and “brave” unlike her detractors who are “nobodies.”
“You are gold Kris and brave unlike your detractors who are cowards, none of them have ever been in firefights like you and I. I can tell real fighters from make believe. But don’t be upset. They are nobodies in every sense,” Locsin said in a tweet Sunday night.
On Monday, Locsin even took time out from his more serious tweets especially about the latest Chinese incursions in the West Philippine Sea by calling critics of Kris “total idiots.”
“She (Kris) has more brains than all her critics combined but then that’s very faint praise because they are total idiots plus social nobodies,” Locsin added.
