Jollibee to vaccinate employees and families on its own

As the private sector steps up to pick up the slack, the Jollibee Group of companies announced that it has set up a Vaccination Program that will provides free vaccines for all its employees in the Philippines.

Jollibee Group Chairman and Founder Tony Tan Caktiong said the vaccination program is consistent with the Jollibee Group’s commitment to employee health and safety.

He added that, the company is also sourcing vaccines for employees’ dependents and extended family and household members. “Our employees’ safety and well-being has always been paramount,” said Tan Caktiong.

The vaccination program covers employees from Jollibee, Chowking, Mang Inasal, Greenwich, Burger King, Red Ribbon, Panda Express, PHO24, commissaries, distribution centers, support functions, and the Jollibee Group Foundation.

Communication efforts like a series of webinars on vaccine education have been started to help employees make informed decisions on their health.

The Jollibee Group Vaccination Program will be implemented following the guidelines from the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) and the Department of Health (DOH) in support of the country’s National Vaccine Program.

Once the vaccines are available, the company will coordinate with Local Government Units (LGUs) to optimize the available supply of vaccines.
