2 Las Piñas hospitals reach full capacity for COVID patients

COVID-19 wards of two hospitals in Las Piñas have reached full capacity as of Tuesday (March 23), while another is already at critical level.

Based on data from the Las Piñas Temporary Treatment and Management Facility and Department of Health, Las Piñas General Hospital and Satellite Trauma Center, and the Las Piñas Doctors Hospital have utilized 100 percent of its COVID beds.

Dr. Arvin Marbibi, administrator of the Las Pinas Temporary Treatment and Management Facility 1 and 2, said Las Piñas General Hospital and Satelite Trauma Center has 40 COVID patients, while Las Piñas Doctors Hospital has 45.

Perpetual Help Dalta Medical Center is also nearing full capacity at 90 percent utilization, with 37 confined COVID patients, Maribibi said.
