Tourist spots in Magallanes, Cavite will be temporarily closed to non-residents from March 23 to April 16 due to rising COVID-19 cases in the country.

Mayor Jasmin Maligaya-Bautista on Friday (March 19) announced on Facebook that Buhay Forest, Utod River, and other attractions, resorts, and accommodations in the town will not be allowed to accept visitors that reside outside Magallanes
Residents who will visit the town's tourist spots are required to present a medical clearance.
Based on the COVID-19 tracker of the Cavite Provincial Information Office, the upland town has recorded 70 infections, the least number of COVID-19 cases in the province.
