New Maxxis tires made for off-road
The many rough roads leading to campsites can be daunting, particularly to drivers new to off-road. There are many modifications that can make traversing tough terrain easy but few can rival the effectiveness of the right set of tires.
Maxxis Philippines introduces 10 of its top-of-the-line mud- and all-terrain SUV and 4x4 tires that combine outstanding balance between on-road and off-road performance, as well as various tread patterns that provide superior maximum traction in any road conditions. Among these are the Maxxis RAZR MT772 and the Maxxis RAZR AT811.
The RAZR MT772 features an innovative tread compound that resists cutting, tearing, and chunking. It has a true three-ply sidewall that improves handling and durability as well as a two-step tread block design that increases traction performance in mud terrain. Its staggered saw-tooth sidewall design improves off-road traction when the tire is submerged in mud, while the stair-shape shoulder block design increases off-road traction. It also has stone and mud ejectors that improve self-cleaning performance and minimize stone retention.
Meanwhile, the Maxxis RAZR AT811 sports a cutting-edge design that ensures leveled-up comfort and performance in off-road and all-terrain conditions versus its predecessor. Among its many outstanding features include a blade-shaped tread block design that ensures excellent off-road traction and water drainage in wet weather conditions, aggressive "side biter" lugs that assist in providing optimal traction in muddy conditions and protect the sidewall from cuts and punctures, and unique shoulder lug design that assists with traction in heavy off-road conditions, especially when being driven at lower inflation pressures. The Maxxis RAZR AT811 also has “saw edge" shoulder blocks that enhance traction in harsh off-road conditions, a unique stone-ejecting shoulder groove that reduces the possibility of stones lodging between tread blocks and damaging the tire casing, and dual-layer high tension cap ply that ensures excellent cornering ability on and off the road, as well as further improving puncture resistance. Its high-strength polyester carcass construction improves cornering ability and ensures optimal puncture resistance, while its high elasticity lower sidewall filler compound results in excellent ride comfort, especially on unpaved roads. It also has a three-ply sidewall construction that provides further puncture resistance in off-road conditions.
Other notable tires in the collection include the Maxxis Bravo AT-700, Maxxis Trepador M8060, Maxxis Trepador M9060, Maxxis MT 8090, Maxxis Bravo HP-M3, Maxxis Bighorn MT-764, Maxxis Bravo AT 980, and Maxxis Bravo AT 771.
