CJ Peralta, Mayor Malapitan lead groundbreaking of Caloocan City Judicial Building
Chief Justice Diosdado Peralta and Mayor Oca Malapitan led the ceremonial signing and groundbreaking activity of the new Caloocan City Judicial Building on Friday (March 19).

The seven-story building with two basements, five family courtrooms, 20 courtrooms and offices for prosecutors, PAO, IBP will be built on the city’s property beside the New Caloocan City Hall at East Grace Park.
This project is a partnership of Caloocan City and the Supreme Court.
"Dumating tayo sa punto na akala natin hindi na ito maisasakatuparan dahil sa pandemyang ating kinakaharap, subalit hindi po tayo pinabayaan ng Panginoon at inadya niya na matupad ang aking ipinangakong bagong Justice Building para sa mga mamamayan ng Caloocan (We have come to the point where we thought it would not be possible because of the pandemic we are facing, but the Lord has not forsaken us and he has allowed to fulfill what I have promised, this new Justice Building for the people of Caloocan),” Mayor Malapitan said.
CJ Peralta said the Caloocan’s Judicial Building might be the tallest and most beautiful hall of justice in the country.
"Ito pong proposed Judicial Building ng Caloocan ang pinakatamaas at pinakamagandang Judicial Building na ating nakitang isinakatuparan ng mga LGU (This proposed Judicial Building of Caloocan is the tallest and most beautiful Judicial Building we have seen to be implemented by LGUs),” CJ Peralta said.
The New Judicial Building is one of the big projects under Mayor Malapitan’s administration.
Some of his projects were the New City Hall, Caloocan Sports Complex, University of Caloocan City North and South campuses, Caloocan City South and North Medical Centers at Caloocan People's Park.
