Mayor George Ricardo Gacula II told Manila Bulletin that the inoculation started on Wednesday (March 17) at the two private hospitals – Manila East Medical Center and Taytay Doctors Multi-Specialty Hospital; at the Taytay Emergency Hospital, a municipal government-managed hospital; and at San Juan Gymnasium.
Gacula said 3,000 AstraZeneca vaccines from the Department of Health have been allocated for the first batch of vaccination rollout that is expected to continue until tomorrow (March 19) at the four venues in the municipality with the majority of the medical frontliners, both from private and public hospitals benefiting the inoculation program.
Gacula said, after the medical frontliners, the municipal government is set to inoculate the town’s senior citizens who have signed up with the “TaytayVAx,” an online and manual pre-screening registration form for residents who intend to be inoculated with COVID-19 vaccines.
