Why Ion Perez sacrificed gym time for Vice Ganda

Action speaks louder than words and Ion Perez is more than willing to put it into practice just to show how much he loves Vice Ganda.

Apparently, the TV host-actor-model has stopped going to the gym, just to make sure he and the love of his life are both safe from COVID-19.

Vice made public his effort on "It's Showtime," Tuesday.

He told Ion, "Sarap sa bahay 'diba?"

Ion responded with a smile, going on tell audiences why he decided to do so.

Vice added, “Iyon ang isa-sacrifice niya. Sabi niya, isa-sacrifice ko muna ang gym for you. For my safety...”

The ace comedian then highlighted the importance of observing safety protocols saying, “Let’s practice safety (measures) and follow protocols po. Puro chika nang chika e. Hindi siya (COVID-19) namimili ng posisyon sa buhay.”
