Wanting to prove something to his former team, Execration's hyper-carry Kiel VJ "Kielvj" Hernandez is extra motivated going into the MPL Philippines Season 7 which will kick off on March 19, Friday.

Kielvj has some big words for his former squad Aura, which decided to part ways with him despite being one of the key figures in its historic back-to-back MPL championships under the Sunsparks banner.

"Sobrang motivated ko sa kanila dahil gusto kong patunayan kung sinong sinayang niyo (I'm super motivated to face them because I want to prove to them who they had let go)," said the 16-year-old Kielvj in the MPL Philippines' Bootcamp Raid segment led by casters Manjean Faldas and Rob Luna.

Along with steady sixth man Renz "Renzio" Cadua, Kielvj was kicked out of Aura after they suffered a first round playoffs exit at the hands of bitter rival Onic PH.

Aura then got former Cignal Ultra carry Mark "Hadess" Lazaro and ex-Execration side laner Benedict "Bennyqt" Gonzales as replacements.

It took a while before Kielvj and Renzio found a new home in Execration, which warmly welcomed them last January.

Now with one of the renowned esports organizations in the country, Kielvj wants to build a long-lasting legacy of being the first three-time MPL champion together with Renzio and in turn give Execration its dream first title in Moonton's professional league.

"Sa'ming dalawa ni kuya Renz, ang gusto namin maging legacy, maging three-time champions kami. Kami lang 'yung una (For me and kuya Renz, we want to become three-time champions. We want to be the first in the Philippines)," said the young pride of Dasmariñas, Cavite.

And Kielvj is nothing short of ultra-confident of reaching that goal, saying that he's on 100 if he's going to rate his confidence from one to 100.

Kielvj and the Execration crew composed of captain mage-support Patrick "E2MAX" Caidic, tank Joshua "Ch4knu" Mangilog, rookie gold laner Mark "Kelra" Pillas, offlaner Renzio and veteran sixth man Billy "Z4pnu" Alfonso with coach Jomie "Pakba1ts" Abalos will face powerhouse Smart Omega, Blacklist International, Nexplay Solid and Laus Playbook Esports in Group B.

Execration is set to take on Omega in the season-opening game on Friday, March 19 at 4 p.m.
