CEBU CITY—The daily trips for the Ormoc City-Cebu City (vice versa) route of the Ocean Fast Ferries will resume on Tuesday, March 16.

In compliance of the Department of Transportation (DOTr) order, only fifty percent of the vessel’s capacity will be filled.
Passengers will also be asked to observe minimum health protocols such as wearing of facemasks and face shields.
Those who will travel from Cebu to Ormoc were advised to register on www.safeormoc.com for their respective QR codes, which will be presented upon arrival at Ormoc port.
With the limited number of passengers allowed, a new fare rates will be implemented.
Tickets for the tourist and open-air accommodations are pegged P900 while P1,200 will be collected for the business class seats.
For the Ormoc-Cebu trip, the vessel will leave at 5 p.m. while the vessel for the Cebu-Ormoc route will depart at 6 a.m.
The shipping company assured trips will return to its normal schedule once the situation improves. The company had temporarily stopped its trips due to the current health crises.
