“Totoo, napag-usapan iyan kagabi sa meeting namin. Those below 18 ay bawal nang lumabas ng kanilang mga bahay kahit anong oras (It is true. We talked about that last night during our meeting),” he said during a DZRH interview.

He said that this was agreed upon by the Metro Manila mayors and the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA).

Teodoro said that the decision to limit the movement of minors aims to curb the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the country.

“Let us always be vigilant and practice minimum health protocols to stop the transmission of COVID-19,” he added.

The Metro Manila mayors also agreed not to impose a unified liquor ban in the National Capital Region.

Based on the data of the Department of Health (DOH), the NCR has recorded 25, 922 active COVID-19 cases as of Monday (March 15).
