Filipino bet Alisson Perticheto is set to compete in the 2021 ISU World Figure Skating Championships at the Ericsson Globe in Stockholm, Sweden next week.

The Philippine Skating Union (PHSU) announced the development on its Facebook page Sunday, March 14, wishing Perticheto the best of luck ahead of the Sweden tilt.

Per PHSU, the 23-year-old Filipino-Swiss is the lone representative from the country and Southeast Asia in the world championships. Perticheto will contend against 41 delegates from different countries without a substitute.

Perticheto, alongside men's counterpart Christopher Caluza, bagged silver in the senior singles event of the 2019 Southeast Asian Games held at the SM Megamall Ice Rink in Mandaluyong.

She captured bronze medal in the 2017 edition in Malaysia and also ruled the prestigious Egna Spring Trophy, an international competition held every spring in Italy.

The world championships will kick off with an opening show on Wednesday, March 24, and will conclude on Sunday, March 28. A two-day official practice starts on the 22nd.
