Sunshine Cruz defends daughter from malicious blind item
Just like most mothers, Sunshine Cruz is protective of her daughters.
She proved this recently, coming to the defense of her eldest daughter with Cesar Montano, Angelina, who was accused of not participating in school work by an anonymous Facebook user who posted a blind item on De La Salle University's "Freedom Wall."

"Ang perfect ng soap commercial niya sana sa group works din grabe kami talaga nag buhay sa'yo. Uso mag LOA if deins kaya mag commit. Influencer please be an Influencer talaga ah," it read.

According to Sunshine, it couldn't be true as her daughter is hardworking.
"She won’t be a Dean's Lister for nothing. Be proud of other people’s achievements and stop bringing them down," she said.
The actress went on to prod the online user to reveal his/herself.
She added, "Gumamit nalang din kayo ng SILKA para luminis hindi lang katawan nyo kundi mga puso nyo.
"May nag comment nito sa thread ng DLSU FREEDOM WALL sa facebook and gagamitin ko ngayon.. “KAPAG INGGIT,PIKIT!"
Angelina herself retorted on Instagram, "I saw this circulating around with comments hinting at me, I might as well address it because it's so frustrating to see these false accusations continue --

"I KNOW I do my parts, and groupmates of mine, past or present can vouch for me. I really don't see the point of targeting me just because you're hidden behind anonymity.
"Next time, you're free to just message me if you think my work was lacking."
In another post, Angelina uploaded a behind-the-scene photo taken during the shoot of her commercial soap.

"Anyway, to the person who anonymously submitted that and to people riding on it... Use Silka Papaya Soap to clean your attitudes," she wrote.
