Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso said on Tuesday (March 9) a "Korea Town" will soon rise in Malate, Manila.

Domagoso met with Kim In-Chul, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the Philippines at the Manila City Hall on Tuesday.
The local chief executive disclosed that they're "building/creating" the "Korea Town" in the Malate area to showcase the Korean culture in the nation's capital.
"We are also thankful to our neighbors in South Korea for their unwavering support to the City of Manila," Domagoso said.
He added: "We hope that the City of Manila and the Republic of Korea will continue to have good relationship with one another, and if the City could extend any help to your country, we would be happy and honored to do so."
