Melai Cantiveros had a pretty wild childhood.
Imagine having to deal with real-life pirates!
This is among many things she revealed in a vlog titled, "Melai's Biggest Childhood Revelation" with Toni Gonzaga.
Melai shared their family used to be well-off.
This is due to their family being involved in tuna fishing.
"Yung pumapalaot ng tatlong buwan para maghakot ng Tuna na pinapadala sa Japan, (points at different directions)," she said, adding, "Sosyal pa ako dati eh, every week kami sa mall."
It all ended with pirates wrecking their boat.
"Yung tatay ko, siya yung pinaka-head, nandito siya sa Gen San nun, talagang hinuli yung mga tauhan niya, then sinira yung bangka namin na pinaghirapan niya."
