Jalen Green’s stint in the NBA G League bubble came to an end Monday, March 8, 2021 after the Ignite suffered a 127-102 loss to Raptors 905 in the start of the playoffs inside the Walt Disney complex in Florida.

The Fil-American scored 30 points while adding five rebounds, seven assists and three steals but the Ignite were blown out by Raptors 905 in the first round of the single-elimination playoffs.

Green’s season comes to an end after a strong campaign that enhanced his status as one of the top prospects in the 2021 NBA Draft.

He averaged 17.9 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.5 steals in playing all 15 games as the Ignite reached the G-League postseason with an 8-7 record.

Green scored in double figures in 14 of 15 games in the regular season, including eight games of at least 20 points.

His highest-scoring game in the regular season came last Feb. 28 with 26 points in the Ignite’s 113-112 win over the Canton Charge.

The Ignite played the whole duration of the G League sans Kai Sotto, who didn’t join the bubble after the supposed stint with Gilas Pilipinas in the FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers was cancelled.
