Many netizens were assuming that actor Janus del Prado's recent quotes were in defense of his good friend actress Bea Alonzo.

Recall that Bea's name has been trending online after her ex-boyfriend Gerald Anderson opened up about their split two years later, citing "toxicity" in their relationship as the reason for their break up. There, he also talked about his new romance.

Recall that after Anderson's statement, Janus posted this on Instagram: “Let them talk and dig their own grave while you win in silence.”

His followers believe that it's Janus' message for Bea.

"Obviously for @beaalonzo.. You're such a good friend, @janusdelprado! God bless you!," an online user wrote.

"Dapat tag mo si Gerald at Julia. @andersongeraldjr @juliabarretto #boycottgeraldanderson," another added.

Note that the said post was also "liked" by Bea.

Janus then followed up his post with another one which read: “No matter how it ended. You do not destroy someone you used to love.”

Meanwhile, two days later, netizens put malice to the comedian's cryptic post.

“You don’t have to put others down just to prove that you’re truly happy. If you’re happy and you know it, clap your hands," his quote read while in the caption he added: “chos. (grinning squinting face, grinning face with sweat, victory hand, heart emojis) #titojokes #titoquotes #goodvibesonly.”

So what do you think?
