Laguna LGU receives additional COVID-19 vaccines to be administered this week


LAGUNA - The provincial government received an additional 714 doses of Sinovac's coronavirus disease (COVID-19) vaccine on Monday (March 8), the Laguna Provincial Information Office told the Manila Bulletin.

The additional doses will be given to medical frontliners of the Laguna Medical Center in Sta. Cruz on Wednesday (March 10).

Last Saturday (March 6), the LGU began its vaccination roll out and administered the first doses of Sinovac vaccine to 200 medical frontliners of the Laguna Provincial Hospital - San Pablo City District Hospital.

On Sunday (March 7), 150 medical frontliners of QualiMed Hospital in Santa Rosa City were administered the AstraZeneca vaccines. The ceremonial vaccine roll out was witnessed by National Task Force (NTF) against COVID-19 Chief Implementer Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr. who is also the country's vaccine czar.
