Lawyer Roger “Brick” Reyes, Dacera camp’s spokesperson, said all the people inside the room where the flight attendant died should face drug charges, citing the result of the toxicology analysis on two cotton swabs from Room 2209 that yielded four –fluoromethamphetamine or 4-FMA and methamphetamine which are prohibited substances.

“A new case should be filed for illegal drug possession against all the people with Christine at Room 2209 of City Garden Grand Hotel. Illegal drugs were found there. Policemen should file drug charges against them,” he said. Illegal drug possession is a non-bailable offense.

Reyes said the 23-year-old flight attendant’s erratic behavior was triggered by illegal drugs.

“Christine was drugged that’s why she became erratic that night,” he said, referring to closed-circuit television footage of the hotel.

Reyes said that they are dismayed at how the Makati Police investigators handled the case of Dacera. and how it did not inform the Dacera camp about the recent developments of the case.

On March 1, the police filed a motion asking the Makati Prosecutor’s Office to reopen the case and admit additional evidence that will prove that Dacera was raped and drugged before she was found dead.

In its motion, the Makati police attached a toxicology report and semen analysis on specimens they found at the crime scene. The analysis of the PNP-Crime Laboratory Office showed the presence of semen on three bed sheets from the hotel rooms—2207 and 2209.

On January 13, John Pascual “JP” de la Serna III and Rommel Galido recanted their statements that illegal drugs were used during their party at the City Garden Grand Hotel in Makati City. Their lawyer, Abigail Portugal, said Galido and Dela Serna were pressured by policemen to state in their affidavits that there were drugs in the party.

“Christine told me and my boyfriend that one of her friends wanted her to try illegal drugs. We told her to stay away from him because he is a bad influence,” Danna Rose Socaoco, best friend of Dacera, told the Manila Bulletin on January 5.

On January 1, Dacera was found lifeless in the bathtub of Room 2209 of City Garden Grand Hotel.
