New year, new look
The Dzire welcomes 2021 with a new look. This is evident with its new, bolder chrome-lined grille and redesigned bumper. The new grille (GL and GL+ variants) takes on a larger European-inspired trapezoidal form, dominating the front. It’s paired with restyled foglamp housings with chrome accents. Fog lights, for better visibility at night, are also fitted as standard on both the GL and GL+ variants.

Higher up on the body, the Dzire also gets new electric mirrors. Integrating turn signal repeaters, mirrors on the GL and GL+ variants are now electrically adjustable with fold.

Small doesn’t have to mean sacrificing space. The cabin boasts of a harmonious sophisticated design that offers functional personal storage space and interior features.
The Dzire offers storage and organizing solutions in the form of a front console box and cup holders, front door pockets, glove box and rear door pockets, rear arm rest with cup holders and rear aircon vents with 12V accessory socket. Its trunk boasts of a massive 378 liters of boot space.

Like to drive with your favorite music? Buyers of the GL and GL+ variants get a new seven-inch in-car entertainment system with USB and Bluetooth connectivity as standard. The GL+ even adds steering-mounted controls for your phone.
Tried and tested efficiency
Once settled inside, a highly fuel efficient 1.2-liter engine propels the car forward. It can be paired with a manual or Suzuki’s unique Automated Manual Transmission called Auto Gear Shift (AGS). This hybrid of the two offers the clutchless comfort of an automatic with the fuel efficiency of a manual. Its fuel economy has been tested under the supervision of the Automobile Association of the Philippines (AAP) and the Dzire AGS returned 25.99 km/L while the Dzire GA and GL returned 26.51 km/L.
Superior safety
When it comes to safety, buyers of the Dzire can rest easy. Each car is built on Suzuki’s HearTECT (Total Effective Control Energy) platform designed for maximum efficiency and safety. On top of that, every variant is fitted with dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, and Brake Assist. The GL model comes with rear parking sensors and Electronic Stability Program (ESP). The GL+ comes with all that plus Hill Hold Control for steep slopes.
The new Dzire comes in two variants: GL (MT) and GL + (AGS) in a variety of colors. It starts at P648,000.00 for the GL MT variant while the GL + AGS variant is priced at P708,000.00. Suzuki also offers the Dzire GA (MT) at P549,900.
