Sinas dares chubby cops to lose weight, sets self as example
Turning himself as an inspiration, national police chief Gen. Debold Sinas gathered all the obese male and female police officers at Camp Crame in Quezon City and dared them to reduce weight.

Dubbed as Chubby Anonymous Project, Sinas said the program is a weight loss challenge for uninformed personnel of the Philippine National Police which was launched to mark the World Obesity Day on Thursday, March 4.
"The relentless, true-to-form, and honest-to-goodness weight loss program of the PNP leadership, past and present, aims to help our personnel be watchful of their weight because I believe that a weight imbalance caused no less by obesity is definitely not healthy, especially in this time of the pandemic," said Sinas.
"We should be more cautious of our health and physical well-being", added Sinas who lost 55 pounds since he started the rigid weight loss program before he took the helm of the PNP in November last year.
But Sinas said the obese cops who took the challenge will not be left on their own. He said he tapped the services of fitness coaches, spouses Jim and Toni Saret, to guide the chubby cops on what to do to effectively reduce weight.
The Saret couple is behind the four-minute routine exercise which is now being observed in all police camps every 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. under the tune of Voltes 5.
During the launching of the program, Sinas gave his words of encouragement and shared some of his weight loss journey to motivate the selected personnel in disciplining themselves and in strictly adhering to the program.
