Aiko Melendez, Maricar de Mesa bury the hatchet

Many didn't know about it but Aiko Melendez and Maricar de Mesa were having a silent war for years.

It ended recently with the two being cast in GMA Network's weekly drama-anthology show "Tadhana."

In an Instagram post, Maricar made clear: "After years of silence, @tadhanagma brought our friendship back."

The "Legal Wives" actress also included #ingodsperfecttime and tagged Aiko in the post.

Aiko reacted writing the following: "Part of not being depressed is keeping myself busy... It was by fate, 'Tadhana' that led me to work with @msmaricardemesa who is a long time family friend."

She went on to thank the Kapuso Network for the project.

She also has a short message for Maricar: "Miss you mare, God's will and strong friendships will never be broken. I'm happy that we are ok and please know this time no more goodbye ah. We will be there for each other no matter what. Love you."
