Why Jerald Napoles' name starts with J and not G

The answer has finally come.

If you are among those wondering why actor Jerald Napoles' name starts with a J, wonder no more.

On his birthday Tuesday, March 2, Jerald shared how her Tita Jellyn Guillen was the one responsible for the whole thing.

"Si Tita po ay nasa Japan nakatira na. Resident na po siya dun, Japanese Passport na... her name po is Jellyn Guillen kaya J and gusto niya! Ipinaubaya na lang ni Mama yung name ko sa kanya since close naman talaga sila."

The "Pakboys Takusa" actor added, "Saka okay naman din yung letter J sa Jerald po. Maniba lang (laughs)!"

Jerald, 38 was born in a barangay center in Tondo.

He is in a relationship with actress Kim Molina.

Jerald is currently a "hurado" in "Versus," one of the segments of "It's Showtime."
