Cignal HD Spikers join PVL

The Cignal HD Spikers are taking their acts to the Premier Volleyball League.

The team officially announced this move on social media Wednesday, March 3, joining the list of squads that include sister team PLDT in the Open Conference tentatively scheduled in May.

“We are excited to announce that the Cignal HD Spikers are officially joining the Premier Volleyball League! #TeamAwesome #RiseHigher,” the post read, accompanied by a poster photo featuring Rachel Daquis, Jheck Dionela and Ranya Musa.

The team has been competing in the Philippine Superliga since 2013, boasting of a co-championship title in the 2017 Invitational, three runner-up finishes and four bronze-medal feats.

However, the team has yet to announce its complete lineup including its coach after Edgar Barroga left to handle newcomer Peak Form.

Aside from PLDT and Peak Form, Cignal will join Creamline, BanKo Perlas, Choco Mucho, Petro Gazz, BaliPure/Chef’s Classics and guest teams Army and Air Force.
