National Task Force (NTF) Deputy Chief Implementer and Testing Czar Vince Dizon has received the Sinovac vaccine on Monday, March 1.

Dizon was the third to get vaccinated against the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) at the Tala Hospital in Caloocan City.
The Philippines officially kicked off its vaccination program following the arrival of 600,000 CoronaVac from Chinese pharmaceutical firm Sinovac Biotech Ltd. on Sunday, Feb. 28.
The vaccines were donated by the Chinese government to the Philippines.
Those who got vaccinated also underwent monitoring for possible adverse effects.
