A possible biofilm on the life of deceased flight attendant Christine Dacera has drawn mixed reactions from netizens.

This after Sharon Dacera, mother of Christine, told the Manila Bulletin that three production companies have offered to make a biofilm about her daughter.
Facebook user Therese Dizon and other netizens advised the mother of Christine to just let her daughter rest in peace.
“And to be honest, Christine wasn't even a public figure to begin with. She was a commoner who died of natural causes. It just so happened that the police blew this up so they can cover their failures in the past,” she commented in a Facebook post of the Manila Bulletin.
“First, the family wants to make this a freaking big national issue. Now, they want to monetize it. I guess money has always been the ulterior motive of everything,” she added.
Some netizens have called for a boycott of the production firms that offered to make a biofilm about Christine. Sharon declined to name the three companies.
Other netizens have urged Sharon to allow one of the companies to create a biopic about her daughter that will serve as a warning to other women.
“Take it. Raise Awareness. Nobody should meet Christine’s fate,” Marlou Madrio said.
Sharon said that she did not accept the offers of the three production firms, saying she wants to focus on the case of Christine for the meantime.
“Baka kasi ma-technical kami kasi ongoing pa ang kaso (We might face technical issues as the case is still undergoing trial),” she said on February 17.
On January 1, Christine was found lifeless in a bathtub at the City Garden Grand Hotel in Barangay Poblacion, Makati around 12:30 p.m.
The 23-year-old flight attendant and her friends were reportedly partying in the said hotel.
The Dacera family had earlier said they strongly believe that Christine was attacked and raped.
