LOOK: Patrick Garcia, wife reveal gender of fourth baby

Nikka and Patrick Garcia are having a baby boy - their first.

The couple is excited and happy about it having three girls already, namely, Michelle, 7, Patrice, 4, and Pia, 3. 

Though, the 39-year-old actor also has a son named Alex Jazz, now 12, with Kapuso actress Jennylyn Mercado.

According to them, they found out about their new blessing through non-invasive prenatal testing.

They shared through blood extraction, the result -- which will be released after 10 to 14 working days -- could help parents find out what they need to prepare, and the gender is just a bonus. 

Nikka and Patrick noted it's a helpful exam for parents who want to know if the baby their having is "healthy" and "normal," as the test can detect many kinds of syndromes and such.

In terms of finally having a son, Nikka admitted it's so "personal" for her. 

"Kasi parang ginrant N'ya 'yung desire ng heart ko," she said.
