Man wanted for robbery killed in shootout with Bulacan police


A man wanted for robbery was killed in a shootout with Bulacan police in Norzagaray, Bulacan on Wednesday, Feb. 24.

Col. Lawrence B. Cajipe, Bulacan provincial police director, identified the slain suspect as Bernie Lastimoso of Brgy. Tigbe.

Based on the report from Lt. Col. Avelino G. Protacio 11, Norzagaray police officer-in-charge, the tracker team and the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Norzagaray served the warrant of arrest against Lastimoso for the crime of robbery on Wednesday.

Authorities fired back which resulted in the death of the suspect.

Recovered from the shootout scene were four fired cartridge cases of cal .9mm, one cal .38 revolver loaded with two fired cartridges, one live ammo, one fired bullet of cal .38, and four sachets of shabu.
