Manila District 1 SK officials launch fundraising drive to help Parola fire victims

The Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) officials of the first district of Manila launched a fundraising drive Wednesday (Feb. 24) to help the fire victims of Parola Compound in Tondo, Manila.

The project dubbed "Singkwenta para sa Parola" was created by the SK officials to give aid to the families affected by the six-hour fire that reached the fourth alarm on Feb. 21.

Five died while five others were injured in the said fire. Around 300 families were also rendered homeless.
