Following the gruesome death of their colleague, friends and co-workers of Department of Social Welfare and Development-National Capital Region (DSWD-NCR) employee Justine Charles “JC” M. Accad have called for justice, urging authorities to apprehend the people behind his death.
Police have failed to retrieve the vehicle of the victim that he was driving on the day he vanished — a blue silver Honda Civic FD with plate number ZEN-851.
In a Facebook post, Accad’s co-worker, Maria Lexel Malajacan, condemned what happened to him.
“We strongly condemn the senseless killing of our fellow social worker,” she wrote.
“May you rest in peace, Sir Justine, and may justice be served.”
Another co-worker, Darstine Mae Grageda, who described Accad as a “true public servant,” posted: “You are indeed a great loss to us, Sir Justine. We pray to God that justice would be found soon #JusticeforJustineAccad.”
A Facebook Page dubbed “Justice for JC Accad” has been created after the discovery of his body in a grassy lot in Bulacan. The page was originally created to find him when Accad was reported missing. Its name was changed after his body was found.
On February 21, the body of the victim was found stuffed inside a sack in a grassy lot in San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan,
Around 3 p.m. that day, a 17-year-old scavenger looking for scraps found a sack containing a decomposing body whose head was covered with packaging tape.
Bulacan Police chief Maj. Julius Alvaro said Accad died due to suffocation as his whole head was covered with packaging tape.
The DSWD-NCR employee was not wearing anything when he was found, he said.
On February 19, Accad went missing after leaving his home in Marikina City. He was going to San Juan City Hall to report to work as he was assigned there.
Accad left his house in Malanday, Marikina wearing a black polo shirt, black slacks, and brown leather shoes around 9 a.m.
The victim’s four-month pregnant live-in partner, Jessa P. Muncada, 25, reported him missing to the Marikina City Police.
Accad and his live-in partner were supposed to tie the knot on April 11.
