The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) has launched a donation drive for affected families in Mindanao due to tropical depression “Auring.”

“Our kababayans (fellow countrymen) in Mindanao need us,” the PCG said in a statement.
The Coast Guard said it intends to transport and distribute ready-to-consume food, rice, blankets, sanitized clothes, hygiene kits, toiletries, mosquito nets, slippers, tents, medicines, facemasks, face shields, and alcohol.
The PCG also asked for personal protective equipment (PPEs) for health frontliners in the affected regions.
“Donations may be dropped off at the nearest PCG unit in your area or may be arranged for pick-up,” the Coast Guard said.
The PCG said donors may coordinate with the Coast Guard Logistics Systems Command through the following contact details:
- Operations Hotline: 0917-815-6913Operations
