Kim Chiu asks Joshua Garcia on 'Paubaya' music video apology to Julia Barretto: 'Bakit ka nag-sorry?'

The banter between Kim Chiu and Joshua Garcia as seen in the recent episode of "ASAP Natin 'To," is hot topic online.

Apparently, many fans found it only too cute the two were talking about their exes, Gerald Anderson and Julia Barretto, respectively.

The discussion started with Kim asking Joshua why he agreed to appear on Moira Dela Torre's music video for “Paubaya.”

He answered, “Alam mo, simple lang naman sagot ko diyan. Ang sagot ko diyan, 'yung friendship namin nila Moi, nila Kuya Jason, and Julia. 'Yun 'yung isa sa nagpa-oo talaga sa akin."

“Seryoso, totoo ‘yon. Si Moi 'yung nag-ask sa akin. Sabi niya, ‘Okay ka ba to do this 'Paubaya?'’ E napakinggan ko 'yung kanta. Sabi ko, ‘Ang ganda nito a. Parang saktong-sakto du'n masyado sa amin!’”

So was the dialogue really unscripted as rumored?

Joshua said, “May script siya, 'yon 'yung guide. Kami ang gumawa—ako si Moi, si Kuya Jason, at si Jul. Kami gumawa apat. May script siya, siyempre. May guide kung saan hanggang saan lang kayo. Pero 'yung sasabihin as an actor, kung saan ka kumportable, siyempre kung saan mo mararamdaman."

Kim then teased Joshua with a "phone-in question," asking the actor: "Bakit ka daw nag-sorry?”

Joshua did not reply to Kim's query, prompting Kim to ask him again to no avail.

She then acted as if she's going to introduce Julia.

"Eto na talaga. We have been waiting for this moment! Live via Zoom, please welcome… Jjjj… just kidding!”

Joshua replied back with: “Kala mo siya lang may surprise, meron din tayo. Please welcome, Mr. Ge… Just kidding!”

“Happy ka? Basta happy ka, Joshua, okay ako du'n,” Kim said.
