Cavite has not received any report of young girls missing in the city, Cavite police chief, Col. Marlon Santos said.

This was in light of numerous posts circulating online warning people in Cavite and Bicol about a United Kingdom or United States fugitive who has escaped and is kidnapping young children at night.

The post also mentioned the fugitive/s would rape those who they kidnapped. It used an example of a 12-year-old girl who is said to be missing until now. It warned people not to go out at night.

It has different versions but mostly mentioned a foreign fugitive on the loose who is looking to kidnap young girls.

“As for Cavite, we have not received any report,” Santos said.

“Wala kaming natatanggap na report about allegedly nawawalang babae particularly 12-year-old na bata (We have not received any report of a young girl allegedly missing particularly a 12-year-old),” he added.
