USTP hands over tablets to students

The University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP) handed over 100 tablets to students for their online classes.

USTP said students who most need the gadgets were prioritized.

"Due to the challenges brought by the pandemic, the University reached out to the students and conducted an online survey to assess their needs when it comes to the availability of gadgets," the university said.

Meanwhile, USTP also provided load assistance to students who did not receive tablets.

Over 100 tablets were distributed to the students from the College of Engineering and Architecture; College of Information Technology and Computing; College of Technology; College of Science and Technology Education; and two senior high school students.

USTP advised students to take care of the tablets, which will be checked by the university from time to time.
