Kapuso star Dingdong Dantes was a happy dad when his son Jose Sixto or Ziggy finally tried the playground swing for the first time.
On Instagram Feb. 21, Dantes said he and his wife Marian took their son Ziggy to the playground so that he could experience the swing.
The "Descendants of the Sun" actor said he documented his son's first date with playground swing with the help of his wife.
Dantes wished that the pandemic would be over so that kids could enjoy outdoor activities again.
He believes that nothing beats the old school of fun and learning outside the comfort of your homes which is important to a child's development.
Dantes also hoped that his children would finally have the opportunity to play with other kids. Ziggy will turn two in April while his ate Zia is now five years old.

"I couldn't help myself from documenting his first time to try a swing since he was born. Wala pa kasi siyang one year old nung nagsimula ang lock down. At first, may takot pero dahil andiyan si Mama, he became comfortable, eventually.
"What a joy to see him explore playing in an open space and get his hands dirty and on the ground. Wala pa ring tatalo sa mga old school na laro na makakapag-hubog ng development ng isang bata. How i wish that we could go back to these outdoor activities, and have the opportunity for our children to freely play with other kids.
"But instead of comparing the past from the present reality, it is our duty to recreate the values of these “experiences” even within the confines of our own homes. All it takes is a little creativity and imagination, no matter how big or small our ”better worlds” are.
