Homegrown toktok making waves with 150k users in 2 months

totkok, the newest and cheapest delivery service app gets 150,000 downloads since its launch last December 2020.

toktok, the newest and cheapest delivery service app, reached a new milestone with a total of 150,000 app downloads in a span of two months, since its launch last December 2020. toktok became the fastest rising and most downloaded delivery service app which landed it to the number four spot of the App Store’s top ten business app.

Currently servicing Metro Manila and select areas in Luzon, at present, toktok have more than 50,000 riders servicing customers, delivering their packages. Also hailed as the cheapest delivery service with a base fare rate starting at P60 for the first kilometer and an additional P5 for every succeeding kilometer.

One of toktok’s missions is to provide assistance to entrepreneurs and help their businesses grow and reach more customers.

Founder’s Mr. Jonathan So and Mr. Carlito Macadangdang saw an increasing demand for delivery service when the pandemic hit the country leading to a community quarantine that limited the movement of many Filipinos. They also observed that many Filipinos have lost their jobs and this resulted in a passion project that is toktok.
