BLACKPINK’s Lisa back as dance mentor on iQiyi’s ‘Youth With You’ Season 3

The NextGen variety show “You With You” Season 3 on leading streaming service iQiyi is set for launch and K-pop girl group BLACKPINK member Lisa is back as a dance mentor.

After her participation in “Youth With You” Season 2, Lisa’s Weibo fans increased by 7.47 million and many Chinese brands noticed her rising popularity.

“Youth With You” was Lisa’s first foray into the Chinese entertainment scene but she managed to win the audience’s hearts with her responsible attitude and cute personality.

In addition, iQiyi said musician Chris Lee has taken on the role of Youth PD in “Youth With You” 3. Lee participated as a special guest in season 2 and witnessed the formation of Chinese girl group THE9. She was one of the representatives of Chinese idols, having also appeared on the cover of TIME Asia.

Season 3’s music mentor is well-known singer-songwriter Ronghao Li. In “Idol Producer” and “Youth With You,” he won praise from trainees and audiences for his professional skills and humor.

Will Pan will be the rap mentor for “Youth With You” 3, who is an influential singer in the area of Chinese music, and deeply loved by young people born in the 90s.

The “Youth With You” franchise has helped outstanding trainees with their rise to fame. Well-known artist Cai Xukun made his debut through the reality show “Idol Producer,” garnering the attention of millions of fans.

THE9 also debuted on “Youth With You” 2. Popular members Xin Liu and Esther Yu continue to enamor their legions of fans in Southeast Asia and beyond.

Among the new trainees for season 3 are well-known choreographer Jun Liu from Korean dance studio ONE Million; Krystian Wang (member of international group Now United); and Tony Yu, who participated in Korea idol-selection show with other trainees hailing from the biggest Chinese artist management companies like Yuehua Entertainment, BG Entertainment and Starmaster.

The second season of “Youth With You” became a success. During its two-month broadcast alone, official “Youth with You” 2 related videos attracted over 300 million views on YouTube, with 73 video clips reaching more than one million views each. Over 429 related hashtags were trending on Twitter across 15 countries across Asia, Europe, South America and North America.

Due to the worldwide appeal of “Youth With You,” season 3 will introduce a new feature. For the first time, fans across the world will be able to support their favorite contestants via the iQ.com or the iQiyi app.

“Youth With You” 3 will also be available to international audiences for free via the iQiyi International website (iQ.com) and app. The show will also offer subtitles in Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, English, Thai, Bahasa Melayu, Spanish, Korean and Arabic.

“Youth With You” 3 will premiere globally on Feb. 18 with a special preview on Feb. 17.
